A cracking start to the 2013 season, with a convincing win over Hampshire Hogs for OMCC.

Having won the toss skipper Michael Absalom elected to bat first despite having a reduced squad of 8 players. Stand out performances with the bat came from Tommy Dann (51) and Michael Absalom (51 not out) with OMCC setting The Hogs a target of 190 to win the game.

Matthew Webb then put on a fine display of bowling to ‘Hog’ the limelight, finishing with figures of 6 for 23 from his 11.2 overs deservedly earning his OMCC colours.

OMCC went on to win by 121 runs.
